ANN AND CHURCH STREETS SITE OF PEDESTRIAN AND HPD MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT.

Update at 2:15 p.m.

(Hartford) - At approximately 12:25 p.m., on Wednesday, March 24, 2004, a Hartford Police Department Motorcycle Officer was traveling north bound on Ann Street at Church Street, when a male pedestrian entered the roadway at mid-street, stepping in front of one car, then the HPD Motorcycle, operated by HPD Officer John Bremser.

Both the HPD Motorcycle Officer John Bremser and the unidentified male pedestrian are being treated at Hartford Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, and are expected to be released within the hour.

The Hartford Police Department's Traffic Division and Investigators from the HPD's Evidentiary Services Division are on scene gathering evidence for the on-going investigation.
