In comment on the Inspection and resultant arrests, Acting Hartford Police Chief Mark Pawlina stated, "We are serious about enforcing the liquor laws in Hartford.  We hope that bar owners in Hartford are as serious about compliance with state liquor laws as we are about enforcing them.  Underage drinkers utilizing false ID's should be on notice that we are serious about enforcement and they should realize the risk they take when drinking illegally in our city."
