HARTFORD POLICE TO CONDUCT DUI CHECKPOINT

(Hartford) - On Friday, November 25, 2005, from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. the Hartford Police Department will conduct a DUI/Motor Vehicle Safety Checkpoint in the Vine and Mather Streets area of Hartford.  The checkpoint is being conducted as part of the HPD's holiday DUI/Motor Vehicle Safety enforcement program, funded under a State of Connecticut Department of Transportation grant.

The Hartford Police Department asks holiday travelers to buckle-up, not to drink and drive, and to drive cautiously during this heavy traffic season.
