HARTFORD POLICE RELEASE NAME OF GREEK CAFE SHOOTING VICTIM; Asks for Public's Assistance in Investigation.

(Hartford) - Hartford Police have identified the victim of a January 18, 2004, shooting at the Greek Cafe in Hartford, as Francisco Alvarado, DOB 7/22/82.

On Sunday, January 18, 2004, at approximately 0146 hours, Hartford Police Department Patrol Units responded to the area of 637 Park Street on the report of a party shot inside the Greek Cafe.  Responding officers located the 21 year old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head who was immediately transported via ambulance to Hartford Hospital.
