HPD LOOKING FOR TROY MCCARTHY, WANTED IN CONNECTION HOMICIDE OF RAMON MOORE.

(Hartford) - The Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division is seeking information on the whereabouts of Troy McCarthy, DOB 3/31/76, last know address of 764 Garden Street, Second Floor, wanted in connection with the September 27, 2003, homicide of Ramon Moore.

McCarthy  is wanted by Hartford Police for charges including Murder, Criminal Possession of a Firearm and Carrying a Pistol without a Permit.  The Firearm in this homicide case has yet to be recovered by police.  McCarthy should be considered armed and dangerous.

HPD Major Crimes Detectives ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of McCarthy to contact Detective Mark Fowler of the Major Crimes Division at 527-6300, extension 5439.  All information will be kept in the strictest of confidence.
