NEWS RELEASE FUGITIVE WANTED FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER TURN-IN HIMSELF IN TO HARTFORD POLICE. (Hartford) - Geno McMahon, DOB 8/17/86, wanted for the attempted murder of Mr. Carlos Hernandez has turned himself in to Hartford Police. Hartford Police issued a wanted poster on June 2, 2004, indicating McMahon was wanted by Hartford Police in connection with the May 31, 2004 shooting of Carlos Hernandez at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Standish Street in Hartford. McMahon turned himself in to Hartford Police at approximately 7:45 a.m. this morning. He is charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder, Assault in the First Degree, Carrying a Pistol without a Permit, and Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm. His Bond was set at $500,000, and is scheduled for arraignment today in Hartford Superior Court. Contact: Nancy
