THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, FIRE CHIEF AND POLICE CHIEF OF THE CITY OF HARTFORD ANNOUNCE DUE TO IMPENDING SNOW STORM  A LEVEL 2 PARKING BAN WILL BE DECLARED IN THE CITY OF HARTFORD AS FOLLOWS:

STARTING:  TUESDAY, JANUARY 27, 2004 AT 8:00 PM. ENDING: THURSDAY, JANUARY 29, 2004 AT 8:00 AM.
 

(Hartford ) - The City of Hartford has declared a  Level 2 parking ban beginning Tuesday, January 27, 2003 at 8:00 PM, throughout the city of Hartford.  The parking ban will continue until Thursday, January 29, 2004 at 8:00 AM.   Depending upon circumstances, the parking ban may be extended.

During a LEVEL 2 parking ban all parking on City streets is banned.   Any vehicle parked on a city street is subject to tag and tow.  Violation of a Level 2 parking ban can result in a towing fee and fine in excess of $160.00.


City of Hartford residents may park their cars, during this parking ban, in any Board of Education – Public School parking lot. You are requested to park in a group away from the school building.  Motorists parking in public school lots are responsible for the removal of their vehicle at the termination of the parking ban.
