(Hartford) - The City of Hartford Police Department's Traffic Division Commander, Captain Michael Fallon, today announced the reopening a second northbound lane on Trumbull Streets between Pearl and Jewel Streets. Motorist should still be advise that over the next several months there can be street closures and traffic delays surrounding the Trumbull Center Construction project, and should consider alternative routes whenever possible.. Hartford Police Traffic Division Commander Captain Michael Fallon asks for the public's patience with respect to potential delays due to this construction project, and asks commuters, visitors and residents alike to avoid the area of Trumbull, between Pearl and Wells/Jewel Streets if at all possible. HPD Traffic Division officials recommend individuals seeking access to the Downtown Central Business District utilize alternative routes, such as the Trumbull Street Exit off I-91 North and South, which provides access to Trumbull Street north of the construction project.
