NEWS RELEASE HPD SEEKS TWO SUSPECTS IN EARLY MORNING ATM ROBBERY. (Hartford) - Hartford Police are seeking two suspects in an early morning "strong arm" robbery which took place at the Fleet Bank ATM, 550 Farmington Avenue, Hartford. At 6:47 a.m., on Wednesday, May 5, 2004, the two suspects followed the victim into the lobby of the Fleet ATM, grabbing the victim from behind, placing the victim in a head lock. The suspects relieved the victim of him wallet, however, the victim was able to keep possession of his ATM card. Attached are photos taken by the Bank's security camera of Suspect #1, a Black Male, in his 20's, approximately 5'10" tall, 180 lbs, wearing a dark hooded coat. Suspect #2, no-photo, is described as a Black Male, 5'10", in his 20's, wearing a white knit doorag and bulky camouflage coat. Both suspects were last seen running east on Farmington Avenue after the incident.
