HPD VICE & NARCOTICS DIVISION CONDUCTS UNDERCOVER DETAIL TARGETING STREET LEVEL PROSTITUTION.

(Hartford) - In response to citizen complaints of prostitution activity in the Wethersfield Avenue, Wyllys Street and Stonington Street area, Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Vice and Narcotics Division conducted an undercover detail targeting street level prostitution.

As a result of the undercover detail, a total of ten (10) females were arrested and charged with prostitution and three (3) males prostitution arrested  for promoting prostitution.

Charged with Prostitution were Jennifer Dubais, DOB 4/17/85, of 755 Wethersfield Avenue, Hartford; Martina Martucci, DOB 5/2/78, of No Certain Address (NCA); Melissa Hayes, DOB 10/19/67, of NCA, Diana Colombo, DOB 4/9/75, of 7 Morrison Street, Hartford, Luz Rivera, DOB 2/13/66, of 76 Main Street, Hartford; Erin Nason, DOB 2/18/75 of NCA; Christina Cromack, DOB 8/18/83 of NCA; Damary Medina, DOB 5/16/75 of NCA; Marisol Rosario, DOB 5/26/65, of 549 Maple Avenue, Hartford, and Jennifer Warren, DOB 7/8/71 of NCA.

Charged Promoting Prostitution in the Third Degree were Tarone Williams, DOB 5/28/66, of 49 Cedar Street, Manchester, Connecticut; Michael Alamo, DOB 3/11/70, of 103 Wyllys Street, Hartford; and Torres Williams, DOB 6/20/83 of 11 Wyllys Street, Hartford.

Jennifer Dubais was also charged by Hartford Police with an outstanding warrant for a Failure to Appear in the Second Degree on a Larceny, and Martina Martucci was charged on an Plainville Police outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear in the Second Degree on a Larceny.

In commenting on the undercover detail targeting street level prostitution by the HPD Vice and Narcotics Units, Vice Squad Supervisor Sergeant Franco Sanzo stated, "Those participating in prostitution, whether patronizing, promoting, or soliciting prostitution, should be aware that the HPD Vice Squad will continue to monitor these areas and conduct future enforcement activities."
