(Hartford) - Hartford Police have identified the deceased in the Tuesday, May 25, 2004 shooting at 461 Zion Street as John R. Zipoli, DOB 12/14/68 of 461 Zion Street, Hartford. 

As part of the on-going investigation, earlier this morning Hartford Police Major Crimes Division Commander, Lieutenant Paul Hammick announced the arrest of Brenda Lopez, DOB 6/3/72, charged with Interfering With a Search Warrant.  Ms. Lopez was one of two individuals interviewed by Hartford Police in connection with the Zion Street incident.  Ms. Lopez was released on a written promise to appear, with a court date of June 4, 2004.  The second individual interviewed by Police was released.

Hartford Police also report that the dog injured during the shooting, receiving a gunshot wound to its left front leg, is in stable condition at an area veternary facility.
