Hartford Police to Conduct DUI/Motor Vehicle Checkpoint.


(Hartford) - Hartford Police will conduct a DUI/Motor Vehicle Enforcement Checkpoint on Thursday, December 21, from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. in the area of 440 Asylum Avenue (Asylum Avenue @ Union  Place), Hartford.

This checkpoint is part of the HPD's ongoing Holiday DUI and Motor Vehicle Enforcement program supervised by the Hartford Police Department's Traffic Division and funded by a grant from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation. 

In commenting on the program, Hartford Police Chief Daryl K. Roberts stated, "The Hartford Police Department asks that everyone traveling the roads this holiday season to buckle-up, drive cautiously and to not drink and drive.  The HPD wants everyone to have a happy and safe holiday with their families and loved ones."
