Hartford Police Identify Homicide Victim.

(Hartford) - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have confirmed the identity of an October 22, 2006 homicide victim as Anthony Harrison, age 27, of Burnside Avenue in East Hartford.

At approximately 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, October 22nd, Hartford police officers responded to a report of a party shot in the vicinity of 391 Garden Street.  On arrival officers located Mr. Harrison lying in the sidewalk area in front of 391 Garden Street suffering from several gun shot wounds to his back and chest.  He was immediately transported to St. Francis Hospital via ambulance where he died of his injuries.  The Hartford Police Department's Crime Scene and Major Crimes Divisions responded to the scene. 

The HPD's Major Crimes Division has assumed the investigation, and asks anyone with information about this incident is to contact Hartford Police Major Crimes Detective Jerry Bilbo, lead investigator, at (860) 527-7300, extension 5239.
