Statement by Hartford Police Chief Daryl K. Officer Sanchez turned himself into Police Headquarters at approximately 9:00 p.m. that evening and was formally charged and released on a Written Promise to Appear. The arrest warrant was the culmination of an investigation directed by Hartford Police Chief Daryl K. Roberts and conducted by the Hartford Police Department’s Internal Affairs Division. Officer Sanchez was suspended without pay pending the outcome of the charges with the State’s judicial system and completion of the Hartford Police Department’s Internal Affairs Investigation. In commenting on Officer Sanchez’ arrest, Chief Daryl K.
