Update on Chief Daryl K. Roberts School Truancy Program.

(Hartford) - On Thursday, December 21, 2006, Hartford Police Chief Daryl K. Roberts will hold a press conference to provide an update on his recently launched School Truancy Program, and to make a significant announcement regarding funding support for the program from the St. Paul Travelers Connecticut Foundation.

The event will be held at the Fox Middle School, 305 Greenfield Street, Hartford, beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the media room on the second floor.   In addition to Chief Roberts, Hartford Mayor Eddie A. Perez, Marlene Ibsen, President of the St. Paul Travelers Connecticut Foundation, Hartford School Superintendent Steven Adamowski, and Fox Middle School Principal Andrew Serrao will be in attendance.

The media may park in the driveway of the main entrance of the school located on Greenfield Street.
