HARTFORD POLICE CONDUCT INTERNAL INVESTIGATION

(Hartford) - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Internal Affairs Division today confirmed they are conducting an internal investigation into the improper handling of seized evidence. 

In commenting on the investigation, Hartford Police Daryl K. Roberts said, "I have zero tolerance with respect to police misconduct, especially related to theft or moral turpitude.  I want to assure the public our investigation will be thorough, swift and fair."
