HARTFORD POLICE IDENTIFY HOMICIDE VICTIM

(Hartford) - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have identified William Googe, DOB 9/9/1989, of 112 Durham Street, Hartford, as the decrease victim of a shooting that occurred this morning at 756 Garden Street.

At approximately 12:45 a.m., police responded to a repot of a party shot in the vicinity of 756 Garden Street, Hartford.  On arrival, officers located William Googe suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  EMS personnel arrived and transported the Googe to St. Francis Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at 1:18 a.m.

Hartford Police are searching for a white sedan with balck/dark grey primer front quarter panels, believed to have been involved in the shooting.
