HPD Continues Search for Missing Elderly Man.

(Hartford) – Hartford Police continued their search today for Alex Swift, a Hartford elderly man missing since last Friday, October 24, 2003.  Working with Connecticut Canine Search and Rescue personnel a search from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. today of the area surrounding Mr. Swift’s resident and other areas of possible sightings provided negative results.

Hartford Police are asking anyone with information that could assist in this investigation to contact the Commander of the HPD’s Youth and Family Services Division, Lieutenant Jose L. Lopez, Sr, at (860) 527-7300, extension 5151. 

Attached is a photo of Mr. Alex Swift, age 79, a Black Male, approximately 5’8” tall, 185 lbs, of 150 South Whitney Street, Hartford.  He was last seen wearing a purple shirt and tan pants.
