HPD Makes 23 Drug Arrests Over Weekend.

            (Hartford) – Officers of the Hartford Police Department made twenty-three drug related arrests this weekend.  In commenting on the weekend’s activity Assistant Chief Lester McKoy stated, “we will continue to do the best job we can to rid our streets of anyone and everyone, from outside and inside the city, which partake in illegal drug activity.  We promise to continue to do everything we can to impact drug driven crime in our neighborhoods.”

Arrested and charged with numerous drug related offenses were: 

·        Kevin Rajchel, DOB 6-27-81, 28 Denison Street, Hartford, charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of more than 4 oz of a Controlled Substance.

 

·        Silas Thomas Neal, aka Neal Tommy Silas, DOB 12-18-78, of 71 Wyllys Street, Hartford, charged with Failure to Appear 1, Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Narcotics With Intent to Sell (PNWITS).

 

·        Alexis Maldonado, DOB 10-23-83, of 30 Berkeley Drive, Hartford, charged with Possession of Narcotics, Non-Student Possession of Drugs within 1,500 of a school, Possession of a Controlled Substance (4oz).

 

·        Leonard Eugene Shuler, DOB 6-28-63 of 180 South Whitney Street, Hartford, charged with Possession of Narcotics, Failure to Appear 1.

 

·        David Huckaby, DOB 5/4/47, of 10 Marshall Street, Hartford, charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

 

·        Randolf L. Wharton, DOB 2-20-47 of 104 Washington Street, Hartford, charged with Possession of Narcotics.

 

·        Carlos Santiago, DOB 2-13-56, of 560 Park Street, charged with Possession of Narcotics.

 

·        Charles P. Robles, DOB 8-20-62, of 160 Jewell Street, Hartford, charged with Possession of Narcotics.

 

·        Hector Pedrogo, DOB 2-11-79, of 887 Asylum Avenue, Hartford, charged with Possession of Narcotics, PWITS, and Failure to Appear 1.

 

·        Tahir Bruff, DOB 5-5-76, of 196 Sigourney Street, Hartford, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (4oz).

 

·        Phillip Baxter, DOB 7-31-80, of 250 Main Street, Hartford, charged with Operating a Drug Factory, PWITS,  Possession of Controlled Substance of more than 4 oz.

 

·        Theodore Womack, DOB 9-25-79, of 17 Rockingham Street, Hartford, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance of more than 4 oz, Sale of Narcotics, Failure to Appear 2, Failure to Appear 1.

 

·        Yadram Persaud, DOB 3-20-79, of 68 Ward Street, Hartford, charged with Possession of Narcotics, PWITS, Possession of a Controlled Substance of more than 4 oz, Failure to Appear 1, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon.

 

·        Frankie Santana, DOB 6-10-86, of 37 Cabot Street, Hartford, charged with Possession of Narcotics, numerous motor vehicle violations.

 

·        Jesus Velasquez, aka Jose Velasquez, DOB 7-14-73, of 22 Babcock Street, charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Controlled Substance within 1,500 ft of a school, Operating a Motor Vehicle without a License.

 

·        Angel Colon, DOB 3-1-65, of 272 Jefferson Street, Hartford, charged with Possession of Narcotics, PWITS.

 

·        Kedar Cockings, DOB 2-28-83, of 750 Blue Hills Avenue, Bloomfield, CT, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance of more than 4oz.

 

·        Fabien Chandler, DOB 2-13-80, of 5 Cider Mill, New Britain, charged with Possession of Narcotics, PWITS, Possession of a Controlled Substance within 1,500 feet of a School.

 

·        Richard Casey, DOB 4-14-63, of 68 Whiting Street, Plainville, CT, charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession with Intent to Sell (two counts), Operating a Motor Vehicle Under Suspension.

 

·        Marcus Roldan, DOB 11-23- 83, of 69 Foley Street, West Hartford, CT, charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession With Intent to Sell, Criminal Trespass 1.

 

·        Leroy Betsey, DOB 12-25,80, of 854 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford, charged with Possession of Narcotics With Intent to Sell, Failure to Appear 1, Violation of Probation.

 

·        Charlotte Grant, DOB 11-11-59, of 17 East Raymond Street, Hartford, charged with Possession of Narcotics and Breach of Peace, 2^nd Degree.

 

·        Taleb Ismail, DOB 12-17-79, of 42 Mitchell Street, New Britain, CT, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance of more than 4 oz, Illegal Possession of Drugs Near a School.
