In assessing current street conditions after the storm, Traffic Division Commander Captain Mike Fallon stated, “Due to the efforts of our citizens to comply with the Parking Ban, our streets are looking real good today. However, it is still critical for anyone with a snow bound car to dig it out and get it off the street. This will enable our Public Works Crews to get the streets clear prior to the projected deterioration of weather conditions during the next twenty-four hours. If cars are not removed from designated snow routes they will be towed.” City of Hartford residents may park their cars, during this parking ban, in any Board of Education – Public School parking lot. You are requested to park in a group away from the school building. Motorists parking in public school lots are responsible for the removal of their vehicle at the termination of the parking ban, currently Tuesday, December 9, 2003 by 8:00 a.m.
